Token Swap Time!
Since we all know StripperCoin holders have anxiously been waiting for our token swap. Well, we have FINALLY finished the KYC with DripDropz, and will be starting the token swap this week! Below you will find details on how to accomplish the swap step by step.
Swap will begin: Epoch 323 (approx Thursday — Feb 24th)
Swap will end: Epoch 329 (approx Thursday — Mar 24th)
First thing you need to know is a staked wallet is REQUIRED to swap your tokens. So if your $STRIP is in a wallet that is not staked — either get it staked — or move it to a staked wallet. Without a stake key, DripDropz will be unable to replace your StirpperCoin. Staking usually takes 10 days to take effect — so begin this NOW!
What will be the process for the swap?
This swap will be conducted 100% through DripDropz. At the end of epoch 322 DripDropz will pause distribution of $STRIP and take a snapshot of every wallet currently holding $STRIP.
Once you have confirmed your wallet is staked (this generally takes ~10 days from when you initialize it) you will then go to dripdropz.io during or after epoch 323 to claim your tokens as usual. Depending on the amount of old StripperCoin you hold, you will automatically be presented with the option to claim your new StripperCoins. The process will work identically to claiming your dripz normally. You will also be able to claim the 5 per epoch that were already dripping.
This should also be the period anybody who has LP’s with STRIP in it to pull the old tokens. SundaeSwap, MinSwap, and any open orders on MuesliSwap.
What’s the amount holders will get in the swap?
All holders will receive a 1:1.000 airdrop
Example:
If you previously held 13,000 StripperCoin
You will get airdropped 13,000.000 $STRIP
What happens to the old tokens?
Since we are only airdropping tokens through DripDropz we will have to ensure that the old tokens have no value moving forward and cannot be mistaken by others for the official $STRIP token. We will be taking a few different actions to ensure this:
- Within 24 hours of the DripDropz airdrop beginning we will rename the old token.
- We will remove the StripperCoin logo
- Insert instructions in metadata on where/how to swap
- After an undetermined amount of days (probably 30) we will debase the old token by adding 6 decimal places. This will change how the coin is displayed in the wallet. If you previously had 1,000,000 after this change it would show in your wallet as 1
- We will also set up a burn address for your old tokens to be disposed of
This is our plan moving forward to ensure that StripperCoin retains value and is accessible to anybody who wants to participate. We will be announcing dates soon as we know them. Below you will find the new and old policyID for the tokens.
